New Delhi, Nov 24, : , Two dealers were arrested by the Delhi Police after they busted an interstate network of illegal arms suppliers.
According to the official, the ATS Dwarka district seized 10 pistols made in the country, two live cartridges, and one motorcycle from two suspects identified as Kuldeep, a resident Palwal in Haryana, and Dilbagh, a Gurugram district resident.

Shankar Choudhary, Deputy Commissioner of Police, said that both the gang members are from Haryana and had been involved in illegal firearms supply to gangsters in Delhi NCR, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh for some time.

Choudhary stated that the gang had been in operation for six months and supplied more than 100 illegal guns to various gangsters as well as criminals.

A few firing incidents occurred in Dwarka Sub-City in the recent past.Investigating these firing incidents revealed that the firearms had been smuggled into Delhi/NCR via Haryana or Uttar Pradesh.

An ATS was created to gather intelligence about the weapons sources available to criminals in order to apprehend those who supply illegal firearms.

Investigative evidence revealed that Kuldeep and Dilbagh, alias Bage, were involved in the smuggling of illegal arms from Haryana into Delhi/NCR as well as supplying these to gangsters.

The official stated that a thorough study was done on the modus operandi and that a watch was kept over the suspects.

On November 22, it was learned that the accused would be riding a motorcycle disguised as milkmen to supply illegal firearms to gangsters in Jaffarpur, Delhi.

The police quickly reacted and reached the spot.After waiting for some time both of them rode a motorcycle to be intercepted by police officers.

One loaded, country-made pistol from each rider was found after a thorough search.After that, the milk container hanging from the motorcycle’s carrier was examined.

Eight country-made pistols were found inside it, all meticulously packed and submerged into the milk.

Interrogated, they revealed that the arms consignment was being shipped to Rawta Mor to be delivered to someone on the orders of Bharat, a Govindgarh resident near Jewar (UP).

Police have registered an FIR under sections 25, 56 and 59 (Arms Acts) of the Indian Penal Code.Both of the accused were taken into custody and Bharat was arrested.
