Maheshwar Reddy alleged that during an informal meeting held on Wednesday Tagore ridiculed his character in the presence of all leaders.

He stated that he was upset by Tagore’s claim that he is not in the workforce for the past one year.

In the course of the discussion Maheshwar Reddy expressed unhappiness over the manner in which he was not being heard and how important information was not being communicated. He left of the meeting following Tagore was reported to have reprimanded him for not sending the details of the party’s activities to Delhi.

Maheshwar Reddy openly expressed his displeasure and, on the following day he wrote an email to the central management.

This happened just only hours after Shashidhar Reddy unleashed an open attack against Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Revanth Reddy and Tagore.

The party’s policy of not to express displeasure in the open, he blamed the two leaders for the current turmoil in the party.

Shashidhar Reddy who was a former minister and son of the former Congress Chief Minister Marri Chenna Reddy, has claimed that Tagore was now an agent of Revanth Reddy and that both leaders were submitting false information to the central leadership.

He said that Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi was expressing the same thing Revanth and Tagore were suggesting.

Shashidhar Reddy was not happy with Revanth’s comments comparing senior leaders with “home guards”.

The leader of the party however, did not respond to questions about whether he would leave the party.Maheshwar Reddy, however, denied that he was planning to quit and stated that he will continue to be in the party.

In the meantime, Telangana congress spokesman Addanki Dayakar was slammed by Shashidhar Reddy for expressing his displeasure about Revanth Reddy as well as Manickam Tagore.

Dayakar said that the comments of Shashidhar Reddy were unworthy of an apex leader.

He said that if any leader has a grievance, there is a committee of AICC as well as PCC to deal with the issue.

Dayakar further said that senior citizens’ comments send a signal to the Congress is falling in the trap of BJP and RSS.

In a further embarrassment to the party, internal disagreements between the parties in Jadcherla constituency came to the surface on Thursday.Constituency head Anirudh Reddy has expressed unhappiness about the current state in the party.

Anirudh Reddy sent a letter to Tagore complaining that former MLA Yerra Chandrasekhar is causing difficulties for him.He clarified that he will not dine with Chandrasekhar who is accused in nine murder cases.

In the meantime, Shashidhar Reddy and MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy have requested an appointment with Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi to brief her on the current situation of the affairs in the state unit of the party.

The news came in the wake of reports that Venkat Reddy might be looking to leave the Congress party, just like his brother Rajagopal Reddy, who recently quit the party and the Assembly.

Rajagopal Reddy has announced the decision to join the BJP and will be running in the by-election in the name of a candidate of the saffron-colored party.
