In the wake of the second wave of the corona, most of the exams have already been postponed.In Telangana, Intermediate first-year board exams were canceled and the students were promoted to Intermediate second year.
State-level competitive exams have been postponed as the corona second wave is booming in the state.
Meanwhile, recently, the Union ministers held a meeting with state education ministers and officials regarding the conduct of the Intermediate second-year board exams.
Education Secretary Sandeep Kumar said that the Telangana government hopes to conduct inter-second year examinations by the end of June if the number of corona cases declines in the state.If possible, the govt is planning to conduct the exams by the end of June.
Also, if the intensity of corona does not decrease, the govt is planning for an alternative.Speaking on this occasion, the Education secretary said that if the corona intensity does not decrease, the second-year students will be given marks based on the marks obtained in the first year exams.Meanwhile, around 9.50 lakh students will appear for the Intermediate second-year board exams in the state.We have to see what the Telangana govt decides.
