Hyderabad, April 21, 2022 – Inorbit Hyderabad collaborated with Women Development & Child Services (WD&CW) Department of the Government of Telangana (GoT) and Nirmaan.Org an NGO that works towards women’s development and more to organize a ‘GIRLS DAY OUT IN INORBIT’ for 60 underprivileged girls.
The orphaned, semi-orphaned girls aged between 15-22 years stepped out of their state homes for a day of fun and games at the mall.They were taken on a tour of Inorbit by a mall representative and learned about the mall.
They visited stores like Shoppers Stop and then stepped into PVR to watch the ’RRR’ movie.This was followed by lunch at the KFC outlet in the mall’s Food Court.
Post lunch, they spent some time at Fun City and had a blast playing arcade games, bowling and much more.
“We are delighted that we could share our mall premises with this very special group of unprivileged girls, who enjoyed every second here.
In addition to all the fun we planned for them, we also wanted them to learn of the different ways that girls can earn a living working in a mall be it the customer relationship, marketing or sales departments.We hope we can inspire each of these girls to reach for the stars,” said Mr.Sharat Belavadi,Centre Head, Inorbit Mall, Hyderabad.The Inorbit group has been dedicated to supporting underprivileged girls in whatever way it can.Last year, Inorbit Hyderabad donated Tabs to girl students during the COVID-19 pandemic.
