Telangana state has received ample rainfall this year.Against this backdrop, the reservoirs are at their full capacity comprising of floodwater.

While floodwaters continued to flow into several projects, floodwater is receding into some other projects.Currently, floodwaters continue to flow along the Ellampalli to Nagarjuna Sagar, while the Jhurala project is receding.

As there is a heavy inflow of floodwater into the Ellampalli project, authorities opened two gates of the project.As the project’s total capacity is 20.175 TMCs, currently, the Ellampalli project has 19.0640 TMCs of water.Nagarjunasagar inflow and outflow were 66,057 cusecs.

The full water level of the Sagar was 590 feet, and currently, the water is at 589.70 feet level.The total water storage of the Nagarjunasagar project is 312 TMCs, and currently, it has 311 TMCs of water.

At the other end of the scale, the floodwaters receded to the Juralala project.The full water level of the Jurala project was 318.516 meters, and the project currently has a water level up to 317.880 meters.The total water storage of the Jurala project is 9.657 TMCs, and currently, it has 8.377 TMCs of water.Also, the full water level of the Pulichintala project is 175 feet, and now it dropped to 125.65 feet.
