But the question for everyone was what would be the states with the highest number of immigrants from India to America.A survey conducted by a company on the same subject revealed shocking facts.
Telugus are the largest group of Indian immigrants to the United States in recent times.
The survey, conducted by Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, an organization called Indian American Attitude as well as the Social Realities of Indian Americans, found that states like Kerala and Gujarat were at the forefront, but in the wake of the latest developments, there was a massive influx of immigrants from Telugu states.
According to the survey, Gujaratis are the largest expatriate in the United States from India.Gujaratis make up about 14 percent of the population, while 12 percent of Maharashtrais live in the United States.
While the number of Telugus is 10 percent.The survey revealed that despite Gujarat being in the first place, the number of Telugus is growing rapidly.
