Indian Railways has decided to run special trains over Vijayawada till the end of this month in the wake of the corona pandemic.These special trains will operate under Covid-19 guidelines, Railway Department officials said.
Train No.02449-02450, a special train which runs between Shalimar and Secunderabad will leave Shalimar at 12.20 p.m.on June 9, 16, 23 and 30 and reach Secunderabad at 1.55 p.m.the next day.Again, the train will leave Secunderabad at 4 a.m.on June 11, 18, 25 and July 2 and reach Shalimar at 6.05 a.m.the following day.
Train No.02469-02470 runs between Howrah and Yeshwantpur.This special train will leave Howrah at 12.40 p.m.on June 10, 17 and 24 and reach Yeshwantpur at 8.40 p.m.the next day.The same train will leave Yeshwantpur at 5.15 a.m.on the 13th, 20th and 27th and reach Howrah at 1.25 p.m.the next day.Train No.03253-03254 which runs between Patna and Banaswadi Weekend Special train will be rescheduled from June 10, Indian railway officials said.
