A host of leaders, elected representatives and members of the British Parliament congratulated the Chief Minister for his revolutionary approach towards development of the disadvantaged communities at a ‘Thanksgiving to CM KCR’ organised in the Committee Hall of the British Parliament on Monday by the ‘Ambedkar UK Organization’ and the Pravasi Bharatiya Sanstha.

British speakers lauded the Dalit Bandhu scheme of the Telangana state government with the Indian diaspora saying such schemes enabled Dalits to become entrepreneurs and live with self-respect and dignity.

British MPs Virendra Sharma, Navedu Mishra, and Baron Kuldeep Singh Sahota recalled Ambedkar’s contributions to India, describing him as a great social reformer who tirelessly fought against untouchability and worked to eliminate discrimination against Dalits.

Prabhakar stated that the CM not only paid rich tributes to Ambedkar but also empowered Dalits in various fields, including politics.
