New Delhi, Nov 26 : , Pakistan’s former cricket captain Inzamam ul-Haq said that the Indian team was scared of Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2021 match.This was evident during the toss between Virat Kohli and Babar Azam, who was more pressured. “I feel that the Indians were scared before the match began.Their body language, if Virat Kohli and Babar Azm’s interview at toss, you can sense who was under pressure,” Inzamam stated to ARY Sports.
“Our team’s body language was better than theirs.India was not under pressure after Rohit Sharma’s dismissal.Sharma was also under pressure.He stated that it was obvious that all of them were under pressure before the match even began.”
Inzamam stated that India was title contenders right from the beginning but that extreme pressure took their attention.
“The Indian team has never played the way they did.They are a great T20 team, there’s no doubt about that.They were the favourites in T20 over the past two years based on their performance.He said that the pressure from India-Pakistan put them under so much pressure that they couldn’t look back.”
“Their feet were not moving at all.After losing to Pakistan, they received so much criticism that they had to take a three-to four-day break.They couldn’t even play Santner or Sodhi.Inzamam said that they are excellent spin players.”
To win their maiden World Cup victory over Asian rivals, Pakistan beat India by 10 wickets in T20 World Cup.To take Pakistan home, Mohammad Rizwan and Babar put together a 152-run stand.India lost by eight wickets against Pakistan at the same venue, Dubai.
India won three consecutive games against Afghanistan, Namibia, and Scotland but did not qualify for the semi-finals.Virat Kohli was also the last Indian skipper for T20I.
