India logs 6,990 Covid cases. Less than 10k for the fourth consecutive day

New Delhi, Nov 30, : , India reported 6,990 new Covid cases in 24 hours.This is below the 10,000 mark for the fourth consecutive day, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare stated Tuesday morning.
In the same time frame, 190 deaths were reported, bringing the total to 4,68,980 across all of the country.

The cumulative number of patients treated has risen to 3,40,18 299 after the recovery of 10,116.The recovery rate is now at 98.35 percent, the highest since March 2020.

The current active caseload is 1,00,543, the lowest level in the last 546 Days.The active cases currently represent 0.29 percent of the country’s total positive caseload, the lowest level since March 2020.

In the same time period, India also conducted 10,12,523 tests.India has conducted more than 64.13 million cumulative tests.

In the meantime, the weekly positivity rate of 0.84 percent has remained below 1% for the 16 days since then.

The daily positivity rate is 0.69 percent.It has remained below 2% for the last 57 days, and below 3% for the past 92 consecutive days.

The Covid vaccination coverage has now reached 123.25 million as a result of the administration of 78.80,545 vaccine doses within the last 24 hours.

This was achieved by 1,28,091,178 sessions.

According to the ministry, there are still more than 22.70 crore unutilised Covid vaccine doses and balances available with the states and Union Territories.India has administered 123.25 crore vaccine doses so far under nationwide vaccination drive.
