The number of people suffering from coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh on a daily basis is higher than last year.A month ago, corona cases were registered in hundreds and now it has reached thousands.
In the last 24 hours, 31,719 samples were tested out of which 3,495 people tested corona positive in Andhra Pradesh.Some of them are being treated in hospitals while others are being treated at home.
9 people died in a single day due to the corona in AP.Among the dead, four victims were from Chittoor district and others are from Guntur, Kurnool, Nellore, Prakasam, and Srikakulam districts.In the past 24 hours, 1,198 people have recovered from the corona.There are currently 20,954 active cases in the state.
To date, 9,25,401 people have been tested positive for corona across the state, of which 8,97,147 people have recovered from the corona.
However, in the last 24 hours, the highest number of corona-positive cases were reported in the Chittoor district.The district received a maximum of 719 corona-positive cases.501 cases were registered in Guntur.There were 405 cases in Visakhapatnam, 306 cases in the Krishna district, 293 cases in Srikakulam, 215 cases in Prakasam, and 209 cases in Anantapur.It is known that 3,339 positive cases were registered across Andhra Pradesh on Saturday.
