Khan said that he appreciates the value of the relationship between the peoples in both countries.
According to the report, he directed all concerned authorities to assist any Chinese investor who is setting up an industry in Pakistan on an emergency basis.
This would include resolving issues regarding road connectivity and providing utilities.
The Prime Minister was earlier informed by Chinese businessmen that they are nearly ready to open operations in the glass, ceramics, and information technology industries.
The Prime Minister’s Office reports that Oppo is one of the most prominent tech companies in the world and will set up a mobile manufacturing unit in Pakistan and an R&D centre.
This would save significant foreign currency on smart phone imports each year and create job opportunities for graduates in tech.
