Heavy rains lashed Greater Hyderabad.Hyderabad recorded 23 cm of rainfall from Friday night to Saturday night.
The roads were waterlogged, and the inland areas were submerged in the floodwater.Rivers and ponds overflowed.
The authorities lifted the gates of Osmansagar and Himayatsagar.
The police department along with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation officials has been vigilant.
They are carrying out rescue operations in the affected areas.Within two and a half hours on Friday night, Hyderabad received 13.5 cm of rainfall.9.5 cm of rainfall in one hour on Saturday.The inland areas, which were affected by heavy rains on Friday night, were again lashed by heavy rains on Saturday.
