Before the official release of the movie, it was met with some of negative reviews from internet users because the demand for a boycott of Laal Singh Chaddha’ was popular on social media for years when the first poster of the film was released.

A number of Bollywood stars have come out in support of Aamir and the actor himself urged viewers to watch the film before making a final decision.

To this the model and actor Milind Soman also shared his opinions. In an exclusive interview with IANS, he said “trolls aren’t able to stop a film”.

He also urged the filmmakers to work harder on scripts in order that people are drawn to them, despite negative reviews on social media.

The fitness celebrity also discussed his’Unity Run’ on August 15th program.

Excerpts of the interview:

Q: A trend has begun on social media with the hashtag “Boycott Bollywood.”.”Boycott Laal Singh Chaddha’ is also making the rounds. Why is there so much animosity towards Bollywood and what can be done about it?

A: Everyone isn’t able to be in agreement with every single thing. You might like a film but someone else might not be a fan.Everyone has a voice today, and they can declare whatever they like.

If some people don’t enjoy some one, they’ll tell them we don’t agree with this individual. If they don’t agree with someone’s ideas, they’ll tell them that we don’t like the person’s ideas.

If some people don’t agree with a politician, and they’ll say that we don’t agree with this politician. However, as I said, trolls cannot stop a film from becoming a success.Because people will always watch good films.

If you have a great story, people will want to be drawn in to it.You’re not likely to say “Oh this is an incredible film but we’re not watching it due to the character’.It’s never happened that way.

I think the audience consists of three types of people.Certain people enjoy the film, there are those who don’t enjoy the film and a few trolls that don’t even watch the movie at all. It’s as if it’s a game.I think, what importance do you attach to these films? “Laal Singh Chaddha or ‘Raksha Bandhan or any other film that is coming out If the film is great, then people will be willing to go and watch it.

My tweet did not express any nationalist sentiment or anything else.My tweet was more focused on Indian filmmakers.

If you create an excellent film, nobody will stop you.People won’t be saying ‘Oh I don’t love this actor, so we will not watch this film’.

If you’re a part of a group with twenty actors in the film and you don’t like one of them. What do you do? So , I’m saying, write a great script, and people will be enthralled by it.

The majority of the scripts I get these days I read them as the following (hand placed on forehead).I’m like, what exactly are the people reading these scripts doing (laughs)? So all I’m suggesting is to work on scripts that are good.Do good work.It will be successful.

Q: Is there a new film or project that you’re working on?

A: Currently I’m working on an film and a web series.I’m not allowed to speak about them. These are the only ones that I found extremely interesting, might be due to the direction of the director or or could be due to the nature of the narrative itself. But the majority of the time I would say around 80 percent of the time I’m wondering”What’s happening? ‘.

Q From “Made in India” to ‘Unity Run’.Say model to fitness icon.

What are your thoughts on your journey thus far?

A: Actually, I wrote “Made in India’ shortly after I stopped modelling.I started modelling in 1989.

The film “Made in India’ was released in 1995 after I had stopped modeling.

My entire life has been a keen athlete.

From the age of nine years old, I began swimming and then represented Maharashtra on the national stage.I was the champion of the national team until the age of 23 in 1989.

And I began modeling following that, but also as a result of a chance encounter.approached me with a position that was interesting, and the pay was also good.So I accepted.I was conscious of my options.

I know that I can enjoy everything life offers without having to think about it.

When it is about encouraging people to stay fit, it happened because people started to be interested in being healthy.People didn’t really think about fitness or health or anything else until around in the middle of 90s.I’d say that’s the time you started to see actors gaining weight when they started working out in gyms.It was then gradual to become an issue.

I believe that by the beginning of 2000, all actors needed to be physically fit.Being physically fit was required of actors and not the case prior to.I’m talking about learning that had an enormous impact. When I turned 50 I was an Ironman.

I posted it on my Facebook page.

It was an easy message that went viral.People were awestruck especially in the media.

It was a day in Zurich and had just completed the event, so I posted this on Facebook and within minutes my phone began to ring.Every single publication and every news channel asked , ‘how did you accomplish this?

I thought”okay, I’m 50 yet I’ve always this way and I really enjoyed taking part in these activities. In 2012 I ran from Delhi to Bombay however it wasn’t a huge announcement because no one was paying attention.Three years later, in 2013, I ran Ironman and it was a huge success. It’s all a matter of what the public’s perception of themselves is changing.

Q: On the 15th of August you will be in action once again. You will travel the distance of 420 kilometers from Jhansi to Delhi in the span of 8 days.Do you have any information about this?

A: I began these special runs in celebration of Independence Day.A lot of runners and other athletes also joined me and I decided to run it each year.I ran 70 kilometers on the 70th Independence day and 71 kilometers on the 71st and so on.

The year before, on the 74th Independence Day, while the nation was struggling with the devastation of the virus I decided to commemorate the idea of unity by setting out to complete a race in 8 days.I usually enjoy celebrating Independence Day, but last year, I wanted to do something more affluent.

There was plenty of conflict which is the reason I chose the idea of unity.
