“Your Honour” is set in Punjab and tells the tale of a man who discovers dark truths about his character and how he can compromise and even commit corruption while under immense pressure.

The second season’s events are immediately followed by the first. This man is Bishan Kosla, a Ludhiana judge who will soon be elevated to the rank of High Court Judge. We are shown in each episode how Khosla is fighting systemic injustice and trying to protect his child.

Khosla’s son Abeer, (Pulkit Makkol), is currently in jail for a hit and run case. The victim he killed is Satbir (Mahaveer) Bhullar, a mafia leader from the local area.

This series focuses on Khosla’s struggle with ethical dilemmas and the potential nuances of his situation to protect his son.He uses his legal knowledge and professional connections to stay ahead of bad guys who want to corrupt him.

Every episode has an extraordinary emotional and psychological depth. It is all anchored in a compelling story that will keep you engaged at every stage. We see how an honorable judge will willingly break the law in order to protect his son as the story unfolds.

A complex network of characters is driving the story of the first three episodes. These characters include cops, corrupt politicians, organised criminals with ruthless methods, gang leaders and victims.

They also serve as judges who deliver justice.Sometimes these characters are just plot devices.

But by episode 4, the puzzle starts to get put together and we realize that they were meant to make Bishan’s illegal mission more difficult.

The script relies too much on Abeer’s frustrated foolishness.

His torment doesn’t suffice to justify the dumb things that he does, which could lead to him being portrayed as the true culprit. This is what we would expect to be covered in the subsequent episodes.

While Jimmy Shergill, Pulkit Makol, and Abeer Khoola bring gravitas and charisma, Mita Vashisht, with her colloquial accent, is the woman SHO Kiran Sekhon.

Suhasini muley is loud and over the top as Abeer’s grandmother.

Gulshan Grover plays Gurjot; Mahie Gill is Mahie Gill and Kunj Anand portray Satbir’s youngest son Harman.Their performances are flawless and have their moments.

The following review was based upon five episodes from the series, which is available on Sony LIV.This is an official adaptation of the Israeli show ‘Kvodo,’ which Applause Entertainment produced in collaboration with Sphereorigins and yesTV.

The film’s noir characters and intrigue will have you hooked for hours.
