Minister KTR on Thursday morning inaugurated the 19th edition of the Bio Asia Conference, which will be held virtually for two days.They will discuss about the challenges in the health sector due to Covid 19.

He said he was looking forward to the discussion with Bill Gates.In the field of life sciences, about 215 companies have raised Rs 6400 Crores.He said 34,000 people were employed during the year with existing as well as new entrants.200 percent growth compared to last year.How is Hyderabad influencing the fields of biology? This growth is a testament to that, he said.KTR said it was becoming clear how the state government would encourage this.
