Hyderabad: Regional ring road estimated to cost up to Rs 17,000 crore

The Central and State Governments have reached a consensus on the northern part of the Regional Ring Road to be constructed outside the Hyderabad Outer Ring Road.

As per the reports, official orders related to this would be issued soon.

It is learned that the centre has assigned the number NH 166AA to the Sangareddy-Narsapur-Tupran-Gajwel-Jagadevpur-Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri-Chautaupal route on the northern part of the road.The Union Ministry of Transport and National Highways invited tenders last June to prepare a final detailed report on the route.

This project has been handed over to the K&J Projects from Maharashtra.The organization examined the northern part at the field level and submitted a report with three proposals.

The union govt reviewed these and chose a new path.Its length is about 158 ​​kilometres.
