The route between Shamshabad and Aramgarh has resumed after it got shut down two days before due to flooding.
Since a few days, people are suffering severely to travel to the airport as they have to pass through ORR or NIRD due to floods which caused the shutdown of Aramgarh and the PVNR Flyover.
But now, they have to relieve as the Hyderabad airport route and PVNR Expressway, have been resumed by the traffic police.
On Friday, the Cyberabad police said the road to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport between Aramghar-Shamshabad, and the 11.6 km PVNR Expressway have set to open for two-wheelers and light motor vehicles.Tweeting the news, Hyderabad Additional Commissioner of Police Anil Kumar thanked the people for their co-operation and said commuters going to the airport and Kurnool side can use these roads now.
However, the road between Chandrayangutta-Amarghar and Moosarambagh causeway bridge still closed.The former route may resume by Saturday, and the latter may take a few more days to get into regular usage.
On Wednesday, the routes had shut down due to the overflowing of Palle Cheruvu and Appa Cheruvu damaging Hyderabad-Bengaluru National Highway number 44.
