(At school) I did lots of impressions of teachers and I was arrested for smoking.I was a sloppy and pretentious kid,” he said.

The ‘Love Actually’ actor explained that since he was a boy at an all-boys institution, he often played female parts in school plays, and is able to “sympathise” with women in the acting world.

“I was especially excellent in the role of Brigitta Von Trapp, the third daughter in the Von Trapp family in ‘The Sound of Music.’ The school was an all-boys college I’ll add it,” he told Choice Magazine.

“I used to play many of female roles, which is why I’m always open to actresses.I’ve been there.”

After high the school year, Grant won a scholarship to Oxford and Oxford, where he was a student of English Literature and joined the drama society, but he stated that he was often referred to as being the “black sheep” of his family because of his work.

He said: “It was great fun But I never thought I wanted to pursue it as an actual job.I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do in the end.”

“I was the black sheep of the family: my elder brother, for instance is a broker, an expert in finance, and makes plenty of money, and I was a dumb Hugh.Charming and talented and all but lazy and an absolute fool with money.”
