Hindi ‘Drishyam’ Director Nishikanth Kamat Passes Away

Bollywood director Nishikant Kamat who is best known for his films ‘Force’, ‘Drishyam’ and ‘Madaari’, has been suffering from chronic liver disease and secondary infections from the past few days.He has been admitted to AIG hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad on July 31st.

Today, the hospital management has made an update about his health at 1 PM claiming that he is still in a critical condition struggling for life.But the latest news is that the director has passed away due to multiple organ failure today evening.
Nishikanth Kamat is 50 years old and made his directorial debut with the Marathi film ‘Dombivali Fast’ in 2005.His Bollywood debut was ‘Mumbai Meri Jaan’, also starring Late Irrfan Khan in the lead role.

His biggest hit was Ajay Devgn-Tabu starrer ‘Drishyam’, which was a remake of the Malayalam movie of the same name.We extend our deepest condolences to the departed soul!
