 Hello Movie Review-TeluguStop.com

What’s it about?

Story begins with Avinash’s (Akhil Akkineni) hunt for a lost mobile phone that has last incoming number to find out his lost childhood female friend cum soulmate.Into the flashback, Seenu (Akhil Akkineni) a poor little guy builds friendship with a rich little girl Junnu (Kalyani Priyadarshan).Love blossoms between them.Then, destiny separates.

Will the same destiny reunite them? What the antagonist (Ajay) has to do with this love story? Know the answers in theaters.

Artists and Performances :

By leaps and bounds, Akhil is a improved performer now.The actor looked much comfortable on-screen when compared with his debut film Akhil – The Power of Jua.He delivered very much settled, controlled and matured performance.The lad has done too many risky stunts that take your breath away.“Hello” is definitely a relaunch for the actor.Kalyani Priyadarshan is simple but elegant.Although she doesn’t have a meaty role to show her full potential, she had a fine debut.

The to kids who played Seenu and Junnu are simply adorable.The almost carried half an hour of the film.Jagapathi Babu and Ramya Krishna are usually good with their roles.Ajay’s villany is okay.

Technical Talk :

Hello is a technically a super sounding film.Nagarjuna has put money and swear for all right purposes.

Every film showcases the desire of Nag to give his best for the relaunch of his son.Anup Rubens album has got some fresh tunes in it and most of the them worked on-screen too.The background score is thumping in the action sequences and also soulful in the love scenes.It’s again proved that Vikram Kumar knows what to extract form the talented music director.The art department has done a stunning job.They add so much to the excellent cinematography it has.PS Vinod’s visuals are probably the best in recent times.In our perception, the best since Keshava in Telugu.

Editing is fine in the first half and becomes predictable in the second half.Having said that, editing department has still done a fine job.

Analysis :

Vikram is a master storyteller.Hands down.

Who could have narrated so complex stories like Manam and 24 in such simplest forms.Although Hello doesn’t stand tall with Manam in story telling aspect, Vikram has still pulled off a decent movie which is meant to be a relaunch of an actor (wannabe Superstar).

One has to appreciate his guts and the acceptance of Akkineni father and son for believing in a story which has a half an hour episode of children taking the story forward.Technical aspects, breathtaking stunts, neat performances but all in an old age story with not so Vikram Kumar narration (may be because of the high expectations) Still, Hello is good enough for a watch.

Plus points :

* Akhil’s stunts

* Cinematography and art

* Music

* Good performances

Minus Points :

* Predictable story and screenplay

* Flat second half

Brief note :

Akhil makes a grand relaunch with an okayish story

Rating : 3.25/5
