SDRF teams and police rescued 22 devotees, who went to the Kedarnath temple as they were trapped in the floodwaters.The rescue teams carried a 55-year-old man on a stretcher as he was unable to walk.

As the Mandakini River was flowing briskly, the police alerted people living on the banks of the River.Also, the car, which was caught in the flood at Lambagad Nallah near Badrinath National Highway, was pulled out with the help of a crane.
