Here comes the big relief for Bollywood star Salman Khan who convicted by court.The Bombay High Court on Friday suspended the five-year jail sentence to Salman Khan .The decision of the court paved way for him to apply for and seek regular bail.
The high court has suspended the verdict of the lower court, pending fresh appeal by the actor against the verdict in the 2002 hit and run case.
Khan, whose bail has been extended by the Bombay HC today, will have to surrender and furnish a fresh bond of Rs 30,000.Its known that court granted two days interim bail after his sentencing last Wednesday.
Meanwhile a fan of actor Salman Khan has allegedly attempted to commit suicide outside the Bombay High Court.There have been protests outside the court where some people gathered both in support of the Bollywood mega star and others demanded stringent punishment for him.
