Earlier, we have reported about CM Kiran Kumar Reddy issuing GO granting administrative clearances for diverting drinking water from Kandaleru project in Nellore to his constituency Pileru in Chittoor with a huge budget of Rs.4, 300 crores.Though, it is prejudice for him to take such decisions at a time, when he is about quit or dismissed from his CM post, he preferred to go ahead on this project keeping in view of his political interests.
However, except TDP leader Somireddy Chandra Mohan Reddy, none of the political leaders have objected his decision.But, now TRS leader K.Harish rao has filed Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in high court yesterday objecting the same.
He appealed the court to grant stay on the G.O.and order the government not to start any works of this project.He complained Kiran Kumar Reddy is prejudice towards Telangana despite being CM of the whole state.The court adjourns the case to Monday.
