Gunasekhar’s most ambitious film till date is Rudhramadevi.The film maker has brought all his assets to prove that nothing can be more than a film.He loves film making to the core.Gunasekhar after making lot of research and development on the film Rudramadevi finished the shoot last year and is still struggling with the post-production works.
Rudramadevi is India’s first stereoscopic 3D film and the film requires lot of VFX works and 3D works and this is the reason behind the delay of the film.Usually, 3D film viewing required 3D glasses to experience the depth, apart from the usual 2D that comprises of length and breadth of a moving image.
For Rudhramadevi, Gunasekhar incorporated the ‘Enhanced Depth Solution’ (EDS) which lets the audiences experience the depth without having to wear the glasses.This is really a wonderful technique as most of the theaters in the state are not equipped with the 3D, by introducing new technology, the makers can guaranty the experience of 3D without glasses.
Gunasekhar roped in the prestigious Ying Group that previously worked on Hollywood biggies like Avatar, Inception, Kung Fu Panda and King Kong etc to enable the EDS.The film stars Anushkha, Rana, Krishnam Raju, Allu Arjun in the lead roles.Thota Tharani is the production designer and the film’s music is composed by Ilayaraja.
