Manish Tewari, author of his book, suggests that the government should have taken action after 26/11 Mumbai Attacks.

New Delhi : , Congress MP Manish Tewari has written a new book in which he questions the UPA-1 government’s lack of action following the Mumbai attack.Official release of the book will be on December 2, just in time for the one-year anniversary of the Mumbai attack.
For a state which is willing to brutally murder hundreds of innocent civilians, restraint does not signify strength. It is seen as weakness.Sometimes actions speak louder that words. It was a time when actions must speak louder than words.26/11 was that moment.According to excerpts taken from the book, “It is therefore my considered opinion that India should’ve acted a kinetic reaction in the days after India’s September 11 attacks.”

Tewari announced Tuesday his new book via Twitter.

His fourth book, titled “10 Flashpoints; 20 years – National Security Situations That Impacted India”, will soon be available on the market.

This book examines every major National Security Challenge India faced over the last two decades.

According to the Congress leader and a former Minister of the UPA-2 government government, the government ought to have taken decisive action after the Mumbai attacks.

But instead, it displayed restraint which isn’t a sign of strength.

Criticism of the Congress leader could be a source of fodder for the BJP.They will likely have a point to make about the Balakot strike after the Pulwama terrorist attack.

A second book will be brought up by Congress leaders in the next month. This could spark another controversy.Salman Khurshid, who compared Hindutva to IS and Boko Haram in his book earlier created controversy.

Tewari, in his book, says that the Taliban’s rise has made it more dangerous.”Over the last two decades the threats to India’s national security have exacerbated both their complexity and intensity.”

The nation will mark the 13th Anniversary of 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attacks. These terror attacks paralysed Mumbai’s commercial district for three days in 2008.More than 160 Pakistani terrorists killed more.

Three days of operation by security forces required to rescue 300 Taj and Trident victims, and 60 Nariman House residents (members from 12 families).
