Gold Smuggling case has been sensational in Kerala State as the accused are said to be very close to the ruling party.

On Tuesday, a minor fire broke out in Secretariat where the crucial files of the case have been kept. And the opposition parties claim that it is a deliberate act of the ruling party to suppress the evidence.

Sources say the fire has broken out on Tuesday afternoon at the block very next to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s office. The General Administration Department has seen the fire first, and this has been a doubt for the opposition parties.

The UDF (United Democratic Front) and BJP have been collaboratively protesting from the initial stage of the case.Once the news broke out, all the opposition parties went to the secretariat straight away and protested against the ruling government.

Reports say state BJP President K Surendran was hold up by the police.

Meanwhile, the ruling party has already condemned that its leaders don’t have any links to Swapna Suresh who is a prime accused in the case.
