Sangam Dairy Managing Director Gopalakrishna, who was arrested recently in the Sangam Dairy case in the state of Andhra Pradesh, has fallen ill.He was arrested on corruption charges in the Sangam Dairy case and is a remand prisoner in the Rajahmundry jail.
Gopalakrishna was taken to the hospital by jail authorities as he is feeling difficulty in breathing.The jail authorities responded and rushed him to the hospital immediately.But, he tested negative for coronavirus.
However, he has most of the Covid symptoms other than fever.
The doctors advised jail authorities to take him for a CT scan.Previously, a CT scan was not done at Rajahmundry Covid Hospital.
They are trying to shift him to another hospital for emergency tests.Family members of Gopalakrishna are worried about his health condition.
Gopalakrishna and Prakasam district co-ordinating officer were arrested by the ACB officials on Friday on charges of trespassing on Sangam Dairy against former Ponnur MLA Narendra of Guntur district.Dhulipalla Narendra Kumaar was still in the ACB custody and his petition has been dismissed by the AP High court.
