New Delhi, Nov 27, : , A Go First flight (G8873) from Bengaluru-Patna was diverted to Nagpur on Friday due to a faulty engine warning.According to the airline the captain had to shut down his engine as a precautionary measure after receiving the warning.
“The captain continued to follow the standard operating procedures and landed safely in Nagpur,” a Go First Spokesperson stated, adding that all passengers were deplaned and given refreshments.To accommodate the passengers, an alternate aircraft was arranged.
According to the spokesperson, the aircraft was inspected by the airline’s engineering team.
According to airport sources, the flight resumed its journey in the evening.
