To checkmate the opposition parties, Telangana CM KCR takes the strategy of ‘Free’ boons.
TRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has released TRS manifesto for GHMC polls which touted to be a relief to Hyderabadis as well as a section of people across the State.
The chief minister has promised several boons to the people including free water supply to households; free power supply to salons, laundries and dhobi ghats not only in the city but across the State.The boons will blossom from, December if the ruling party win in the GHMC polls.
Announcing the manifesto, Chief Minister KCR said Hyderabad is the second city in the country after New Delhi to provide free water to its people.According to the officials, the free water supply promise is a big boost to the 97 per cent of the households in Hyderabad.
Besides, the clubhouses in housing societies, private schools and charitable organizations are also eligible for free water with the same criterion.
Also, the Chief Minister kept his promise to help the Telugu film industry and vehicle owners affected by the lockdown from March to September.
The government will ensure reimburse the State GST for small budget films (up to Rs 10 crore) and waives off motor vehicle tax amounting to Rs 267 crore for the two quarters of the current year.
