There is never-before-seen competition for the GHMC polls-2020, and the Election Commission has readied a total of 9,101 polling stations for the polls, on December 1.On Saturday, the GHMC Election Authority and Commissioner, Lokesh Kumar has disclosed the final list of polling stations for 150 wards of the GHMC.
Of all the 9,101 polling stations, Kondapur division has the highest number of polling stations with 99 while RC Puram stood at the bottom with 33 polling stations.According to the press release, the final list of polling stations available in the office of Deputy Commissioner, Ward Office, Revenue Divisional Office, concerning Tahsildar Office and other offices specified by the SEC.
Meanwhile, the State Election Commission (SEC) has rejected 90 nominations out of 2,575 on Saturday.Reportedly, 1,893 candidates filed 2,575 nominations for the GHMC polls.
After critical examination, the returning officers have dismissed 90 nominations and marked the total valid nominated candidates as 1,825.Reportedly, Sunda is the last day to withdraw the nominations.
