She was examined by an expert doctor as a preventive step and a swab of her throat was removed from her throat to determine the reason of the diagnostic.

The child was never in contact with anyone outside of her home.

The news comes just after the RKI was made aware of the first signs of infection among teenagers between 15-17 last week.

Just three months after the first case of monkeypox in Germany was verified there have been an aggregate of 2,916 cases were reported to the RKI.

The majority of those who are involved almost all of them are male, with only seven cases in females.

“According to current research close contact is essential to ensure the transmission of the pathogen” the RKI said.

Transmission is most often in the context of sexual activity.

“As as is known the majority of those affected don’t get seriously sick,” the RKI wrote.

The World Health Organization said recently there has been only just a few of children who have been infected with monkeypox in the current global outbreak.
