The Secunderabad Gandhi Hospital is gearing up to make all kinds of medical services available in the hospital in the wake of the decline of the severity of the corona second wave.The hospital authorities have decided to provide Covid and Non-covid services from the 19th of this month.

With the outbreak of the corona Second Wave, Gandhi hospital is providing medical services only to Covid victims.However, now, as the severity of corona reduced, the hospital staff decided to restore non-covid services.

Currently, 215 corona and 179 black fungus victims are receiving medical services in the Gandhi hospital.Nodal officer Prabhakar Reddy said 44 people recovered and discharged on Monday.

Gandhi hospital Superintendent Professor Rajarao clarified that they are making appropriate arrangements to restore non-Covid services in the hospital.He explained that they will provide medical services to the victims of Covid and black fungus cases in the Ortho ICU, second floor and library building.

Also, he said that the non-covid services will be provided in the casualty, OP and IP buildings.Experts say that the chances of the third wave are high and they are unable to predict its severity.
