Panaji 15 Aug : Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Monday claimed that in order to make Goa Sujalam, Sufalam the newly elected panch members must forget their political disagreements and all political parties will need to unite.
Sawant in his Independence Day address from the Old Secretariat in Panaji, stated the administration, CM or Ministers cannot work on their own.”We must every political party to join together.This is the only way to make plans and schemes available for everyone.

The newly elected Panch and Sarpanch should forget the political divides and, even if NGOs are working to promote good things, and we will be able to achieve our goals.We need your help to move Goa forward and make Goa Sujalam Sufalam”,” Sawant said.

The state has received a positive response to “Har Ghar Tiranga’, as tirangas were exhibited in panchayats, schools, temples, masjids, and churches, Sawant said it was an honor to be a part of it.

“Through this, we have demonstrated the concept of “One Nation one emotion and one Identity’.Goa is unique and with Uniform Civil Code we have demonstrated the world that Hindus, Christians and Muslims are all one.We will continue to ensure our unity.I hope your support will be with us to Goa forward,” Sawant said.

He stated that the prime minister Narendra Modi started the ‘aspirational district’ concept to facilitate the development of districts behind.”Goa is tiny state.We decided to find aspirational villages and move these villages to the next level.We have found 16 villages.Six are from the North district and 10 from the South district.Through this, issues related to health education, agriculture basic infrastructure, skill development , and financial inclusion will be emphasized,” he said.

“The Prime Minister announced the concept of “GatiShakti and we’re not far in the race in the field of.Connectivity to roads port connectivity, rail connectivity airport connectivity We have decided to take a leap in these sectors and formulated the master strategy,” he said.

He stated that it is not just cities, but also the state government is planning to connect villages with the Sewerage Treatment Plant.”We will link villages with STP.We have an outline plan.We could implement this in cities, however for now villages will be joined,” he said.

He said that to ensure the an effective execution of the New Education Policy, infrastructure and human resources will be developed within the next year.”We are making progress on this.Through Vidhya Samikasha Kendra, students will be monitored.

This means that the standard of education will be improved,” he said.
