Chennai 9th August : The group of director P.Vasu’s highly-anticipated horror film “Chandramukhi 2,” with the actors Raghava Lawrence and Vadivelu in the lead roles, has completed the first schedule of filming. The sources who are close to the unit claim the initial schedule took place in Karnataka’s Mysuru and the entire schedule concluded on Tuesday.
The film has music composed by M.M.Keeravaani and cinematography done by R.D.Rajasekar and art direction by Thotta Tharani.
Produced by Lyca Productions, one of Tamil film’s top production houses The film has high expectations as it is an update to the blockbuster “Chandramukhi”.
The first film of the film, which was produced by Sivaji Productions as its 50th film in 2005, featured Rajinikanth, Prabhu, Jyothika, Nayanthara, Nasser and Vadivelu among others.
The remake of the Malayalam mega-hit ‘Manachitrathazhu’and “Chandramukhi” was directed and written by P.Vasu and went on to become a huge success.
Raghava Lawrence had earlier made it clear that he was going to be a part of the film in the sequel.However, he then went to select another production house for the role of producer.
But, as of now, Lyca Productions has taken the project over and has begun producing the project.
