After sharing the photo of shooting wrap-up and photos from the dubbing studio with the star cast, the makers of Karthi’s upcoming film ‘Sulthan’ revealed the first look poster of the film.Karthi is seen in an intense rugged look in the poster where he is dressed in a plain shirt, jeans, and holding a whip in his hand while people stand behind him. This marks the Tamil debut of the most happening heroine of the south, Rashmika Mandanna, who is playing the love interest of Karthi in this film, which is expected to release in theaters on Pongal 2021.This family entertainer is directed by ‘Remo’ director Bakkiyaraj Kannan while it is being bankrolled by SR.Prabhu under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures. Karthi shared the poster on his social media handles saying, “Dear brothers and sisters, Your love and appreciation is what keeps us going! Bringing you the first look of #Sulthan.Hope you like it! Love you guys! #SulthanFirstLook,” he wrote alongside the poster.
Karthi’s films are all dubbed into Telugu and this film too will have a simultaneous release in the Telugu states.Meanwhile, Karthi has in his pipeline the magnum opus by Mani Ratnam.Titled ‘Ponniyin Selvan’, the film is based on a Tamil novel of the same name by Amarar Kalki.
