Kollywood star actor Dhanush who was last seen on screen in ‘Pattas’ released in 2020 Pongal will be seen next on-screen in the movie Karnan directed by Mari Selvaraj of ‘Pariyerum Perumal’ fame.It has been a while since the makers of this announced that they have wrapped up the shooting process.
The film has Rajisha Vijayan as the leading lady while Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli, Natarajan Subramanian, Yogi Babu, Alagamperumal, and others form the rest of the cast.
Now the latest update is that the makers of the film on Sunday have revealed the first look poster of the film along with the release date.
The film will be hitting the screens on April 9th this year as a summer release.Touted to be an action- entertainer which is based on a real incident that happened in an estate near Tirunelveli.
The first look poster looks stunning where the ‘Asuran’ actor is seen wearing handcuffs and the expression is priceless, to say the least, and no doubt will be the trending topic of the day.The director tweeted saying, “The Soul of Justice never dies.” With great delight,sharing with you the much awaited first look of #Karnan & the release date.”
On the work front, Dhanush is also part of ‘Jagame Thandhiram’ which is ready for release.The film is directed by Karthik Subbaraj.He also completed shooting for Aanand L.Rai’s ‘Atrangi Re’ with Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar.He also has a Hollywood film by filmmaker duo Anthony and Joe Russo titled ‘The Grey Man’ and is also doing a film with Karthik Naren and Selvaraghavan.
