Kolkata 29 August : West Bengal municipal affairs and urban development minister, as well as Kolkata city mayor Firhad Hakim, popularly known as Bobby, could be the next victim of the central authorities such as Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI and Enforcement Directorate (ED), and the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. She also believes that the attack on Hakim could occur any time from now.
“The ED raids at the residence of Partha Chatterjee occurred just a few days after our Martyrs’ day rally on July 21st this year. Now, following this rally tomorrow, ED or CBI could be at Bobby’s doorsteps.
For the situation of Partha Chatterjee I don’t have any comments to make. But if the same incident occurs with Bobby the next time, it’s a completely planned decision,” the chief minister declared, while addressing an enormous rally to mark the day of the day of foundation of the student wing of the Trinamool Congress, Trinamool Chhatra Parishad.
She also expressed a similar concern about her nephew and the Trinamool Congress’s national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee.”He has delivered an explosive speech in this venue.Who can say he as well as his wife will not get an agency notification from the central agency on the horizon. If they do summon the couple, I’ll request for them to bring their two-year-old child together with them to the office of the agency,” the chief minister stated.
However the chief minister admitted that there were irregularities in the recruitment of teachers during her tenure as chief minister of West Bengal.”But the allegations of irregularities are not as significant in comparison to the massive teacher’s appointments that took place in the past 10 years. We could have rectified our mistakes if we been given the chance to do this. However we didn’t have that opportunity,” the chief minister declared.
“Had I not been the chief of the government, I would have urged my female party colleagues to cut off the tongues of those who resort to a constant slander of us regarding the infractions,” the chief minister stated.
In his remarks, Abhishek Banerjee attacked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary and the Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s son Jay Shah for the alleged refusal to display the Tricolour in the India-Pakistan game on Sunday.”Either Amit Shah should announce Jay Sah as his prodigal son or he should resign from his job of Union Home Minister.I am shocked that people attempt to educate us about the spirit of patriotic duty,” he said.
