Amaravati Protests continued even on the 74th day, as the AP State Government seemed least bothered. This time around, the protesters took a ‘novel path’ in expressing their anguish and opposition towards the YS Jagan government.
Sitting around the YS Rajasekhar Reddy statue in Vijayawada, the protesting farmers submitted a plea to the YSR Statue, taking everyone by surprise.
Shocked by the development, the police had nothing to say except being a mere spectator.
One of the woman protesters said, ‘YS Jagan’s father YS Rajasekhar Reddy is hailed as the Farmers Chief Minister.Right from free electricity, to constructing mega irrigation projects across the rivers, YSR has done what no one could even imagine.
However, his son YS Jagan is acting completely opposite to his father.
We request the Late YSR to kindly intervene into ‘Capital Shifting’ issue, and advice his son YS Jagan not to take revenge on the people of Amaravati by shifting the capital’, speaking to a media channel.
