It is a known fact that Samantha is making her web series debut with the ‘The Family Man 2’.The series will be out next month and so much is being said about the show.
If fans of Raj-DK’s The Family Man are wondering why they’ve to wait until so long, that is until February 12th which is the release date of the second season.However, there is a reason for the delayed season.
One is of course is COVID, that villain of every show in 2020 but there is a bigger reason why The Family Man 2 was delayed.It’s because The Family Man 2 will be dubbed into 10 foreign languages by Amazon and released simultaneously across the globe, along with the original Hindi version.
Also, the makers have recently dropped a teaser a couple of weeks ago where Samantha was only shown in a glimpse.Another update is that scenes between her and Manoj Bajpai are going to be terrific and will be shown in a realistic manner.
Though they won’t have many scenes face to face, the cat and mouse game between her character and that of Manoj’s will be super special.‘The Family Man’ web series stars Manoj Bajpai in the lead role.
He will be returning as NIA agent Srikant Tiwari in the upcoming season whereas Samantha Akkineni will be playing the character of a terrorist on the name Raji.Sam has also dubbed for herself in Hindi is the talk and we need to see how that turns out.
Raj and DK duo is helming the project.The web show also has National award-winning actress Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Seema Biswas, Darshan Kumar, Shreya Dhanwantary, Sharad Kelkar, Sunny Hinduja, Shahab Ali, Vedant Sinha, and Mahek Thakur.‘The Family Man‘ season 1 was one premiered in the month of September 2019 and it was applauded for its direction, performances, and writing.The producers are using the marketing strategy of dubbing for ‘Family Man 2’ to reach more audiences.
The directorial duo Raj and DK have also worked for ‘Go Goa Gone’ and ‘Stree’ which were super successful at the box office.
