Released on February 28th, ‘Kanulu Kanulanu Dochayante’ is the Telugu dubbed version of Malayalam’s ‘Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal’, which stars Dulquer Salmaan, Ritu Varma, Gautham Menon in the lead roles.The film’s title is inspired by AR.Rahman’s chartbuster song Kanulu Kanulanu Dochayante from Mani Ratnam’s ‘Donga Donga’ (1993).
The Telugu dubbed version has been very well received by the Telugu audience and has turned out to be a sleeper hit at the box office with its increasing footfalls each passing day.Now the surprising news is that the film’s distributors have added 40 extra screens across the twin Telugu states seeing the unanimous positive reviews and increased collections.
Directed by Desingh Periyasamy, the film showcases Dulquer as Siddharth, a mobile application developer, who falls head over heels in love with Meera, played by Ritu.
The chemistry between the lead pair, the interesting plot, decent music, and the exciting twists and turns have turned to give a positive word of mouth for this film.
