EVV Giri, cinematographer for many Telugu films in 90′s has passed away few hours ago today [21st Jan].Giri is the elder brother of noted Telugu film director EVV Satyanarayana.
The 49-year old technician was best known for his work as cinematographer for Telugu films Appula Apparao (1991) and Aa Okkati Adakku.
Allari Naresh’s Kevvu Keka & Nuvva Nena are his recent films.
What’s shocking is that both the brothers have died on the same day of Jan 21st .Tragically, EVV Satyanarayana too passed away on the same day three years ago (21st January 2011).
EVV giri survived with wife and two children (a daughter and a son).His son is living in foreign.Cremation process will be done on Thursday.Telugu film industry was startled after knowing this latest news.
Few people have visited Giri’s house and made their condolences to him.
