A lot of speculations are rife regarding the political future of the former Minister of Telangana Etela Rajender, who has been sacked from the ministry due to land grab allegations.Etela is planning to leave the party soon.
It is against this backdrop he is meeting the senior leaders of Congress and BJP respectively.However, there are speculations in Telangana politics that he is going to form a new party soon.
But there is no official confirmation on this.
Recently, Etela confirmed that he has no plans to join BJP.He said that he is meeting the leaders of Congress and BJP parties to get their support.However, it is speculated that Etela has already received assurances from the BJP leaders that they will support him in the case of the Huzurabad by-election.
However, it is reported that Etela will resign as an MLA on June 2.If the same happens, then there is a possibility of a by-election to the Huzurabad constituency soon.
On the other hand, junior doctors in Telangana are on strike calling off their duties.It seems their talks with the Telangana govt failed as the govt did not give a green signal to their demands.
