After a lot of speculations, arguments, and debates, today, the former minister of Telangana Etela Rajender is all set to join BJP.Etela left for Delhi on Monday morning.He was accompanied by former MLA Enugu Ravinder Reddy.Etela Rajender will join the BJP at 11.30 am today in the presence of BJP National President JP Nadda.Along with Etela, former MP Ramesh Rathore, former Karimnagar ZP chairperson Tula Uma and about 20 other key leaders left for Delhi.
On the other hand, BJP Telangana president Bandi Sanjay left for Delhi last night.Union Minister Kishan Reddy, who is in Jammu and Kashmir, is also likely to reach Delhi soon.
According to the information available, all the leaders will return to Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Recently, Etela Rajender resigned from his MLA post and submitted his resignation letter to the Speaker of the Telangana Assembly Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy.
However, the Speaker immediately accepted his resignation and informed the Election Commissioner that the Huzurabad Assembly constituency has fallen vacant.According to the norms, if an assembly seat falls vacant, by-elections should be held within the next six months.
