First-ever full Budget of Telagana State after its formation is being presented by Finance Minister Etala Rajender in State Assembly today.Thanking CM KCR for opportunity, Etala introduced his budget .Etela said that Budget is not just numbers but calculations of aspirations of Telangana people.
Etela Rajender introduced Rs 1,15,689 crore budget in the State Assembly.The budget includes a plan expenditure of Rs.52,383 crore and non-plan outlay of Rs.63,306 crore.The Finance Minister also proudly announced that Telangana in one of the two surplus economy states in India, besides Gujarat.
The budget was a pleasing one with allocations for KCR’s various ambitious schemes like Mission Kakatiya, Loan Waiver, Sky ways, Yadagirigutta development etc.
Here are the highlights of the budget:
Total budget: Rs 1,15,689 cr
Non-plan expenditure put at Rs 63,350 cr and planned spending at Rs.52,283 cr
For SC development in Telangana : Rs 5,540 cr
Budget surplus is Rs.531 cr
Central Raxes share of TS Rs 12,823 crore
For ST development: Rs 2.878
For farmer loan waiver: Rs 4,250 cr
For GHMC: Rs 526 cr
Yadagirigutta :Rs 100 cr
Osmania University: Rs 238 cr
Metrol rail project in Hyd: Rs.416 core
SC sub-plan: Rs 8,089 cr
ST sub-plan: Rs 5,036 cr
Roads & Buildings: Rs 4,980 cr
Anganwadi workers salary: Rs 7000 per month
Education: Rs 11,216
Mission Kakatiya: Rs 2,083 cr
RTC development: Rs 400 cr
Teangana water grid: Rs 4,000 cr
Forest & environment: Rs 325 cr
Monthly fund Rs 70,000 to each police station in Hyderabad and Cyberabad
Rs 50,000 fund to city police station
Rs 25,000 for rural police stations
For food subsidy: Rs 2,200 cr
Agriculture and allied sectors: Rs 8,432
Irrigation sector: Rs 8,500 cr
For Aasara pension scheme: Rs 4,000 cr
