Equity indices rise during early trade; Sensex up 0.6%

Mumbai, Nov 30, : On Tuesday, the 30-scrip Sensitive Index (30Sensex) was up in early trade.
The S&P BSE Sensex traded at 57620 points at 9.30 a.m., up 0.62 percent.

It opened at 57.272 points, a decrease of 57.260 points from its previous close.

It has reached a low of 57.252 points.

The 50-scrip Nifty at NSE opened at 17,055 points, after it closed at 17,053 Monday.

It traded at 17,170 point, up 0.67 percent during the early-morning trading session.

Power Grid Corp, Tech Mahindra Enterprises, Piramal Enterprises and L&T Infotech were among the top gainers in the early trade, according to exchange data.

Mohit Nigam, Hem Securities, stated that “continuous selling by FII’s shows rising inflation risk and uncertainty regarding high valuations of Indian equities.However, it is a short-term trend and is part and parcel of the normal cyclical nature the Indian economy.”
