New Delhi, Aug 24 : The Enforcement Directorate (ED), which is conducting raids at a variety of locations across the country in connection with an investigation into the investigation into the prevention of money laundering investigation that relates to extortion and mining in Jharkhand on Wednesday, found an AK-47 from the property of one of the suspects.Sources have claimed that an AK-47 was found in the property of middleman Prem Prakash.

The raids were carried out in Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Jharkhand and in Delhi-NCR.
Pankaj Mishra, a close assistant of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, was placed under arrest by the ED on 19 July.During the interrogation the ED collected a lot of information.
The ED had even confiscated an in-water vessel worth 30 crore, which was M.V.Infralink III, which was believed to be being employed by Mishra.
“The vessel in question was operating illegally without a permission at Sukargarh Ghat, Sahebganj.
The vessel was operating at the direction of Rajesh Yadav, alias Dahu Yadav in collaboration with Pankaj Mishra and others to transport illegally mined stones and stone boulders,” the ED official was quoted as saying.
The official informed that an FIR was filed in this regard with Muffasil police station, which is the home of the vessel MV INFRALINK-III in accordance with Section 25 30, of Bengal Ferries Act, and sections 282, 188, 420, 422 of IPC.
The incident was preceded by the freezing of two crushers operating illegally of MaaAmba Stone Works, which were operated by Bishnu Yadav and Pavitra Yadav together with the freezing of three HYVA trucks discovered in Mauza Majhikola, Sahebganj carrying illegally quarried stone chips, stones and boulders without mining Challans.
