Recently, Telangana state BJP president Bandi Sanjay lodged a complaint with the ED stating that irregularities are taking place in the granite companies of Karimnagar.
Following the complaint of Bandi Sanjay, today, Enforcement Directorate issued notices to nine granite companies in the Karimnagar district.
In the complaint, Bandi Sanjay alleged that Granite was being exported to various countries via Kakinada and Krishnapatnam in violation of FEMA regulations.
ED issued notices to nine granite companies in Karimnagar seeking an explanation within 10 days on how much granite had been illegally exported to various countries.
As per the reports, ED issued a notice to the Chennai Elite Shipping Agency last month.
Also, ED issued notices to Swetha Agency, AS Shipping, JM Baxi Group, Maithili Aditya Transport, KVA Energy, Arvind Granite, Sandhya Agencies, PSR Agencies, Sri Venkateswara Granites and Logistics and other companies.
At the other end of the scale, the walkathon of Telangana BJP Chief Bandi Sanjay was postponed to August 24 in the wake of the parliamentary sessions.
