Dulquer Salmaan is currently working on an upcoming film ‘Salute’ directed by Rosshan Andrrews which also has Manoj K Jayan, Alencier Ley, Binu Pappu, Vijayakumar, and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy in other crucial roles.Aslam K Purayil is the director of photography and Sreekar Prasad is handling the editing.
Santhosh Narayanan is the music director while PM Satheesh is working on the sound.Dileep Subbarayan is handling the action choreography.Dulquer’s Wayfarer Films is bankrolling Salute as the company’s fifth production venture
Dulquer released the first look of the film on social media today and wrote “As embarrassing at it is.Here’s me presenting myself in our newest film titled ‘Salute’! Saluting our wonderful cast and crew”.In the first look poster, we see Dulquer Salmaan in a police uniform, with a lathi in his hand, sitting on the back seat of a Royal Enfield bike.Diana Penty of ‘Cocktail’ fame is making her debut in the Malayalam film industry with this film.
The team is currently shooting for the project that is expected to release later this year.
On the work front, Dulquer is currently waiting for the release of his ambitious film, ‘Kurup’.
The movie is inspired by the life of Kerala’s most wanted criminal Sukumara Kurup.He also has in the pipeline yet to be titled film with Vyjayanthi Movies.
The film is touted to be a period love story.His Tamil film ‘Hey Sinamika’ with Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari was recently wrapped up.It is expected that the release date will be announced soon.
