YS Vivekananda Reddy’s daughter YS Sunita met the Kadapa district SP in the wake of the ongoing CBI probe into the murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy(68) in 2019.Vivekananda Reddy’s daughter Sunita said their lives were in danger and she asked for police protection.
Former MP YS Vivekanandareddy (68) was reportedly killed before the last general election in 2019.However, the case is still pending.
Recently, it is learned that the CBI has resumed its probe into the Viveka murder case.A team from the CBI is staying in Kadapa, interrogating the suspects and trying to get key information.
Vivekananda’s daughter Dr Sunita met the Kadapa district SP on Tuesday and asked him to provide security in Pulivendula.She told the police that her family was in danger.
She appealed for security arrangements to be made at her home.
CBI officers focused on several suspicious vehicles they found through CCTV footage on the day of the murder.
CBI officials mainly focused on the employees who worked close to YS Vivekananda.CBI officials questioned Vivekananda Reddy’s former driver for seven hours, a computer operator in YS Viveka’s house for nine hours.
Also, they interrogated YCP activist Sunil Yadav and many others.Along with them, the CBI questioned a district level official for the first time.
